It all started in 2008 when two best friends, Kae Burke and Anya Sapozhnikova arrived in New York City and needed a space to make big art, create radical spectacles and dance with their friends. Apparently, a lot of other people wanted this too. And so, with a little luck and a lot of hard work, the vision became a reality and an artist loft in Bushwick became the House of Yes.
Over the past decade, the House of Yes has transformed, expanding into different locations and growing from the underground to become a world-renowned establishment, recognized on an international level for innovative experience design and a commitment to holding the culture of nightlife to a higher standard.
Now, we are more than a venue- We are an idea factory, an incubator for art, a beacon of hope where culture lives and thrives. We are prolific producers of performance art, a dedicated community of creatives, an audience of eccentrics and sensation seekers.
